R. Lee Morgan is a novelist, short story writer and former reporter living in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lee's writing fist appeared in small town newspapers in the early 1990s and his byline has since spread to hundreds of newspapers, magazines and websites with thousands of credits.

But fiction was always his first love, particularly off-center characters in unfortunate situations. He's drawn stories from his experiences in the South where he grew up, as well as time spent in some of his favorite haunts like New Orleans, Las Vegas and his five-year residency on the Big Island of Hawaii.

He published his first book of short stories in 2001 and a first novel in 2005. He's since published two more and has a third in the works.

His latest novel, published in late 2022 is a crime thriller called The Rabbit Killers, now available on Amazon.com

In the late spring of 2024, the new dark tale from the Morgan Universe, Twisted Juniper, is set to be released in print, e-book and in audiobook format for the first time where he will provide the narration.

Lee lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Anne Marie and his Saint Berdoodle Mindy.
